Democratic

So for the exercise, I chose the authoritarian leader every time. However, in certain situations, it is more important to have a democratic leader instead. Democratic leaders are interested in their followers and what they believe should be done. These leaders want want what is best for their followers rather than for themselves. This is especially important when it comes to some forms of government leadership (president, senator, ...). these people are hired or voted in to represent their followers, not just themselves. Having a leader who only does what he wants would be extremely selfish when he is only there because other people need to be represented. This type of leadership creates a positive relationship between follower and leader because each follower gets a voice in how things are ruled. Sure, some ideas can be more popular than others and not everyone will get their own way, but the majority does.
