Alright, so when I think of a leader, I think of someone who gets shit done. To me, it's all about being efficient and doing things quickly and correctly, and I feel like Anna Wintour does all of that. It's like she knows exactly what she want and how she wants it and she gets it done. Fashion is a $350 billion industry and she controls it all. The idea of Marc Jacobs at LVMH was hers. The idea of putting celebrities on the covers of fashion magazines was hers. The idea of Fashion's Night Out was hers. In 2010, Macy's sales were down 4 percent to 5 percent. The weekend following that one night, sales had increased into the teens. The movie Moulin Rouge would have never existed if it weren't for her. This one woman holds remarkable power over not only fashion but also business, film, and other industries. She is a leader who forgoes all the bullshit and knows exactly what need to be done and how to do it.
